To me, my artworks are a myriad of experiences woven together in a tapestry of paint, colour, line and shape, that evoke realms of my experiences, encounters and relationships.

What is represented in each painting arises from the interaction between my current state of being combined with my sketches, memories, feelings, photo and video materials and recorded audio fragments that I have acquired during my travels.
It often takes time for me, to experience the different layers and interactions and to understand how the physical and emotional experience can be materialised in colour and shape.
