Daily life and intimate portraits

I capture people casually, in the fleeting and real moments of daily life, aiming to catch their soul, their being, and spend some time together while doing so.

Central in my paintings is the human figure. It appears in landscapes as well as in intimate portraits. Some people I have painted several times, often these contacts became intimate relationships that inspired me and helped me in finding the most authentic version of myself.
I capture them casually, in the fleeting and real moments of life, with the aim of stepping back into their world, spending time with them, capturing their soul in colours and processing my experiences with and life lessons from them.
In this way, I want to make these lessons available to the West, by making the other, the people on the other side of the world, visible.
